Maids2Mum Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Maids2Mum! By booking our cleaning services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Payment Policy
1.1 We currently accept payments only via PayID, Stripe and PayPal.
1.2 All payments must be made in full prior to the scheduled appointment date.
1.3 Cleaners will only be dispatched to a property once full payment has been received.
1.4 We reserve the right to cancel any appointment if payment has not been received at least six (6) hours before the scheduled appointment time.
1.5 Any applicable refund will be processed with 30 days.
2. Appointment Cancellation Policy
2.1 Clients may cancel a service without penalty if cancellation is made at least six (6) hours before the scheduled appointment time.
2.2 Cancellations made less than six (6) hours before the scheduled appointment time may incur a cancellation fee of $50.
2.3 To book another appointment, clients must pay any accrued fees, including the cancellation fee, along with the standard service fee in advance.
2.4 At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to refuse service to a client who has had more than one cancelled appointment.
3. Appointment Times
3.1 Appointment times are scheduled, within a 2-hour timeframe, for arrival to your cleaning appointment. This allows us to plan for travel time to your home along with, gaining access to the property, and setting up our supplies to begin your cleaning.
For example:
If your cleaning appointment is scheduled at 2PM, then we agree to arrive to your cleaning between 2PM and 4PM. We may arrive as early as 2PM. But, we agree to show up no later than 4PM.
Regardless of the time that we arrive, you will certainly receive your full cleaning time for the specific service that you have paid for (whether that be 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs, 4rs, etc.).
3.2 We will make every effort to arrive either early or on-time to each appointment. In the event that we are late to an appointment by more than 15 minutes, we are willing to provide the client with that amount of extra cleaning time (should the client be agreeable).
3.3 If a client is late to a property, by more than 15 minutes, we have the right to charge an additional $50 late fee, which must be paid upfront, before the cleaning can occur. If the client refuses to pay this additional upfront late fee, then the full pre-paid cleaning fee is also forfeited and we will reserve the right to cancel the appointment and refuse service to the client.
3.4 When speaking about the amount of allowable time for a cleaning appointment, "cleaning time" or "cleaning hours" are approximate. The service will not exceed the hours specified. Yet, the work may be completed sooner (in less hours) depending on the number of cleaners available to deliver the service.
4. Access to the Property
4.1 Clients are responsible for providing access to the property to be cleaned at the scheduled time.
4.2 If your service property is located behind a gate, or if there is a lockbox on the door, then it is the client's full responsibility to communicate that to the cleaner, prior to the appointment, and to provide access to the property on the day and time of the scheduled cleaning.
4.3 If the cleaner(s) are unable to access the property, the client agrees to forfeit the full cleaning fee. There are no refunds given for scheduled appointments where access has not been given to the property (on time).
4.4 At our sole discretion, we may allow the client to reschedule the appointment, provided access will be ensured for the rescheduled time.
4.5 All pets or animals must be completely contained during the cleaning time. We have the right to refuse service to a client who is unwilling to contain their pet or animal. No refunds will be given if we cancel an appointment due to an animal not being contained on the property.
5. General Conditions
5.1 All services will be conducted professionally and with care. However, we are not liable for damages caused by pre-existing conditions, faulty fixtures, or items that are not disclosed to us.
5.2 Any concerns regarding the quality of service must be reported within 24 hours of the appointment for resolution.
6. Cleaning & Stain Removal
6.1We will make every attempt to lift and remove pre-existing stains. However, we make no guarantee that the stain will be completely removed from any surface, object, item, wall, rug, carpet, or upholstery.
7. Quiet Cleaning Policy
7.1 Maids2Mum cleaners will endeavour to greet you kindly and speak with you about your cleaning needs. While we endeavour to provide you with friendly cleaning and organising services, reserve the right to clean quietly without making any "small talk" or personal conversation during our cleaning time. Please respect each cleaners private life.
7.2 We will not feel obligated to share any personal details about our home life or lifestyles. We are here to clean for you, as efficiently as possible. So, this means we will be focusing our time, on cleaning each area, and clearing the way for you to get back to enjoying your day.
8. Airbnb Cleaning Conditions
We offer special cleaning pricing to Airbnb owners/hosts. There are certain criteria that must be met to qualify for Maids2Mum Airbnb cleaning pricing. The property can be publicly listed either or on Airbnb or a similar kind of home rental lodging website.
The owner/host must show that the property is in fact an Airbnb or similar type of lodging property by:
The property being currently listed on Airbnb or similar rental lodging site, or
Providing a website address to the listed on Airbnb or similar rental lodging site.
The owner/host is required to email Maids2Mum a live URL link to the Airbnb or similar lodging property. Email your property's Airbnb link to us at: cleaner@maids2mum.com
9. Amendments
9.1 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated on our website at maids2mum.com or communicated to clients directly.
